Shipping and Handling Policy
Carriers will not deliver to a PO Box. Please indicate a full shipping address and telephone number when ordering.
We are not responsible for incorrect addresses. Please carefully check name, address and zip code of recipient.
Love Caviar shall not be liable for any damage as a result of any delay or failure to deliver for any reason including, but not limited to, problems with the carrier, any acts of God, fire, flood, accident, sabotage, strike, slowdown or other labor difficulties, war, riot, delay in transportation, or defaults of common carriers.
Perishable items are shipped next-day, and non-perishable items are shipped ground unless you have requested otherwise.
Orders for perishable items received by 3:00 PM Eastern Standard Time, Monday through Thursday, are processed and shipped the same-day unless a later ship date is requested. Orders received after 3:00 PM are considered to be the next day orders. Please note that we do not ship on Friday, Saturday, Sunday. All orders received after 3:00PM on Thursday will be processed following Monday. If your order is urgent, please call us and we will do whatever we can to expedite it.
Standard shipping and handling charges are $35.00 for overnight perishable items. Non-perishables items will be charged at the adjusted lower ground rate depending on weight and destination. We do not ship to Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and Alaska.
Consumer Safety and Returns Policy
Love Caviar takes serious precautions to insure that your orders are delivered in the freshest condition. Love Caviar uses special, secure, temperature and humidity controlled packaging technology to assure safe food transportation to its destination. We use an air tight, fully insulated, temperature retaining packaging system that keeps its contents cool for a full 48 hours in ambient temperatures of up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit or 24 hours in temperatures up to 105 degrees. Through the use of the FreshShip packaging system, Love Caviar can absolutely guarantee that the food products you receive from us are in the same fresh condition as when they left our facility.
The FreshShip system combines a reusable, seamless, molded polystyrene cooler chest with a non-toxic refrigerant gel pack and strategically placed chips of dry ice. Your perishable foods are temperature controlled within the confines of the polystyrene, which itself is encased in an outer cardboard shipper. To further contain temperature escalation, we fill the remaining areas with void fill to minimize the amount of air circulating within the system. As an added bonus, you get to keep the cooler and the refrigerant gel packs to use for your next picnic or road trip. In the winter months, we may utilize a less robust system for the cooler states.
Any accidental transportation damage must be addressed with shipping carrier (FedEx) in accordance with their specific policy.
To prevent our product from the risks associated with spoilage, adulteration or misbranding, we cannot resell returned food items. Hence, we must discard returned food. For public safety reasons, all food sales are FINAL SALE. No return or exchange claims will be accepted.
